October 10

It still feels like summer here in the Catskills, except that all the leaves are now techno-colored.  Bear and I are still slipping out for long hikes, knowing that soon it will become freezing cold and our walks will be shorter and closer to home.

I’ve been working on my new heads.  The one from last week began looking very serious and really pretty stern.  I feel like I overworked the needle sculpting.  So, she’s going to be set aside for a bit.  I don’t want to feel stern right now.

My newest head feels more at peace.  She’s seems happier and more relaxed.  She already feels like she could become a close friend.  I am enjoying to getting to know who she is.
